Interim Head of School

Welcome. As you explore Central and get to know us, I hope you will catch a glimpse of the wonderful things happening at our school.

As we enter our seventh decade, we celebrate God's provision for Central. For that reason, we've chosen Lamentations 3:22-24 as our verse for the 2018-2019 school year:

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases:
     his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
     great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
     “therefore I will hope in him.”

Indeed, Central is a school shaped by God’s steadfast love. When I walk the halls of the school, I see evidences of lives that have been molded here. For generations, the Lord has brought remarkably gifted and loving teachers to Central. He has brought families which have gone on to influence the city and the world. He has blessed us with facilities that meet the demands of a vigorous curriculum. He has shepherded the school under the strong leadership of our Board and caring ministry of Central Presbyterian Church. He has allowed us to receive national recognition for the quality of Central’s program.

More than these tangible evidences, God’s faithfulness and steadfast love drive the very heartbeat of Central Christian School. For, God’s pursuing grace is indispensable to the Gospel of Jesus, which is at the core of our community. As a result, we have hope in Him. We are empowered to engage the world with the recognition that God’s goodness penetrates hearts, enlivens minds, and brings about restoration in a broken world.

This is foundational to our school mission. Because of God’s sustaining and steadfast love, we respond by a Passion for God, Love for Truth, and Zeal to Serve. Our desires and hopes for our students are not rooted in changing aspirations. Rather, our mission is driven by a response to who God is and what He has done. As a result, we want our students to learn in commitment to excellence and truth. We want them to be boldly and curiously creative in their exploration of God’s world. We want them to engage the world in transformative ways, because they recognize the profound dignity of all people created in God’s image. We want them to celebrate diversity, because these unique stories and experiences help the community know and love God in deeper ways.

My hope is that you will come experience Central Christian School first-hand. At Central, you’ll see a rich community of teachers  and staff, students, and parents who are being shaped by the Gospel of Jesus. Join us in that!

Richest blessings to you,
Noah Brink
