Tuition and Financial Aid

Thank you for considering a Christian education at Central for your child. Here we believe children play an important role in God's story for humanity. Even now in their childhood, He is using this next generation to bring joy to a weary world and restoration to the brokenness around them. We see this every day at Central -- in our classrooms, on the playground, and at lunch tables. We know you feel their impact, too, in your own families and homes.

We appreciate your desire to not only prepare your child academically for middle school and high school, but to train them to engage culture and impact their generation as described in our Portrait of a Graduate. At the same time, we recognize that choosing a private, Christian school requires many families to sacrifice. Throughout your kids' childhood, you will invest thousands of dollars in caring for them, helping them thrive, and giving them the right opportunities. Thank you for considering their education as one of the most important investments you can make.

Below you will see our tuition rates, as well as different ways we seek to ease the financial burden of a Christian education at Central. Please dialogue with us about how to make Central Christian School a reality for your child.

Tuition

Our program offers 3K* through 6th Grade. 3K and Junior Kindergarten (JK) families have the option of enrolling their children in a part-time or full-time program. Our part-time students in 3K and JK may attend three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for either half days or full days. 3K and JK families also may choose five full days just as our SK through 6th Grade families do. We encourage parents to choose the option that meets the needs of their individual child -- and family -- best, and we're grateful to offer different options as families face different seasons of life.

Our tuition for five full days is the same at any age -- whether your child is in 3K or 6th Grade.

*3K is for children who turn 3 by July 31. Junior Kindergarten is for those who turn 4 by July 31, and Senior Kindergarten is for those who turn 5 by July 31.

Tuition Discounts

Siblings of current students receive a 5% discount upon enrollment. This discount is applied to the second, third, fourth, etc. child in each family each year they are enrolled. Also, children of Central Presbyterian Church members receive a 10% discount each year.

Financial Aid

Central Christian School provides a limited amount of need-based, financial aid for SK-6th families up to 50% of tuition. Financial aid is awarded to current families each February, and to new, incoming families each March, for the upcoming school year.

If you're a prospective family seeking enrollment for your child at Central Christian School and you intend to seek aid, a financial aid application will be due once your admissions application has been processed. Aid is distributed to our first-round of applicants who apply by January 31. After this date, remaining funds will be distributed to qualifying families as they are available.

We are currently transitioning to a new third-party financial aid manager. This organization assesses each applicant's current financial situation using various factors and ultimately determines the level of need for each. They use assets and liabilities, W2's, and submitted data to determine what each applicant can contribute toward a Central education, and a recommendation is then given to our financial aid committee. All information is kept confidential.

Should you desire to apply for financial aid, please let Sarah Holley know and she will communicate with you, and share the application link, as soon as our transition to this new system is complete. We anticipate that this will occur no later than December 31. 2020.
