  • How should I prepare?

    In order for you to best prepare to complete the application in one sitting (there is no "save" feature), be aware that the following essay questions are part of the application process:
    1. Please describe your relationship with Christ and how he is actively working in your life today.
    2. What does it mean for you to teach content from a Christian perspective?
    3. Describe your philosophy of teaching.
    4. What are some of the biggest challenges facing educators today and what steps have you taken to overcome these challenges?
    5. Tell us your strengths and how you feel uniquely qualified to serve students at Central Christian School.
  • What are the steps?

    To be considered for employment, please submit this application, completed in full, and email your current resume to our Principal, Paya Sample. You will also be asked to complete a Background Check as a part of the application process.
  • When should I expect to hear from someone?

    While our normal hiring season begins in early spring, we review resumes and applications on a rolling basis and as such encourage you to submit a resume and application as soon as possible. The next step for top candidates is an interview. You can expect to be contacted within two weeks from the time we have received all of the required documents.
The School complies with the law regarding reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities. Applicants requiring reasonable accommodation in order to participate in the application process are requested to contact the hiring coordinator in order to arrange such accommodation.

The existence of a criminal conviction does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Convictions will only be considered in relation to specific job requirements. It is only necessary to include convictions which have not been expunged from the records.

Applicants for Faculty (a.k.a. Teaching) positions, please respond to the following questions.
APPLICANT'S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I certify that the information given herein is true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I authorize the School to investigate any information, including my employment history, educational background, credit history and record of criminal convictions that it believes is relevant to my employment application. My current and former employers, educational institutions, and personal references may provide information that they may have about me in response to inquiry from the employer. I understand that any offer of employment by the School is contingent upon obtaining reference information learned through the above mentioned reference checks as well as upon the successful completion of a criminal history and background check. I understand that omitting relevant information or providing misrepresentations or false or misleading information in my application, resume, or during the interview process may result in a refusal to hire, or discharge in the event of employment. I understand that I shall be required to provide documentation establishing my legal authorization for employment within the first three days of my employment. I understand that if employed, I will be asked to sign an Employment Agreement which is an at-will document. BACKGROUND CHECK
