Tuition & Financial Aid

Thank you for considering a Christian education at Central for your child.  Here we believe God has created each of our students as image-bearers of Him, and consequently has a purpose and plan for how they live out their gifts and talents, not just as adults, but even today as children. Through the lens of strong academics, we believe God draws children to himself through knowledge and learning. This belief, coupled with a faculty and staff that deeply value both the spiritual and academic growth of children, gives us great hope that our students will come to have a deep love of learning and appreciation for God’s working in all aspects of the world.
We appreciate your desire to not only prepare your child academically for middle school and high school, but for them to impact their generation as described in our Portrait of a Graduate.

We also recognize that choosing a private, Christian school requires many families to sacrifice. Throughout their childhood, you will invest thousands of dollars in caring for your children and providing opportunities that will help them grow and thrive. Thank you for considering their education as one of the most important investments you can make.

Below you will see our tuition rates, as well as different ways we seek to ease the financial burden for families. Please dialogue with us about how to make Central Christian School a reality for your child.

Tuition

Our program offers 3K* through 6th Grade. 3K and Junior Kindergarten (JK) families have the option of enrolling their children in a part-time or full-time program. Students in 3K and JK may attend part-time, three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, for either half days or full days. 3K and JK families also may choose for their children to attend school five full days just as our SK through 6th grade families do. We encourage parents to choose the option that meets the needs of their individual child -- and family -- best, and we're grateful to offer different options as families face different seasons of life. Please note, all of our 3K and JK classes serve more than one program choice and students are assigned a teacher in both grades through our class placement process.

Our tuition for five full days is the same at any age -- whether your child is in 3K or 6th grade.

*3K is for children who turn 3 by July 31. Junior Kindergarten (JK) is for those who turn 4 by July 31, and Senior Kindergarten (SK) is for those who turn 5 by July 31.

Financial Aid

Central Christian School provides a limited amount of need-based, financial aid for SK-6th families up to 50% of tuition. Financial aid is awarded to current families each February, and to new families each March, for the upcoming school year.

If you're a prospective family seeking enrollment for your child at Central Christian School, you will submit a separate financial aid application which is due by February 13.  Please note that aid is distributed to our first-round of applicants who apply by the deadline. After that date, remaining funds will be distributed to qualifying families as they are available.

We partner with Blackbaud Financial Aid Management (formerly called Smart Aid), a third-party organization, to manage our financial aid process. After you submit a financial aid application through Blackbaud Financial Aid Management, your current financial details will be assessed by them using various factors. They will use your assets and liabilities, W2's, and other submitted information to determine what your family can contribute toward a Central education. A recommendation is then given to our financial aid committee. All information from Blackbaud Financial Aid Management is kept confidential.

To help make a Central Christian School education a reality for your family, we invite you to complete a financial aid application on the Blackbaud site. You'll be able to partially complete an application and return to it at another time if that's more convenient for you. Blackbaud Financial Aid Management provides online, 24/7 support to answer questions as you're entering your information. The Blackbaud Financial Aid Management application fee is $35 which must be paid at the time of submission.

Additional Scholarship Opportunity

The Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program: MOScholars, is a program provided by the State of Missouri, completely independent of Central Christian School's financial aid process.

Beginning with the 2023-24 admissions year, prospective families interested in the scholarship should complete a short prequalification survey for Herzog Tomorrow Foundation to evaluate for eligibility.

Tuition Discounts

Siblings of current students receive a 5% discount upon enrollment. This discount is applied to the second, third, fourth, etc. child in each family each year they are enrolled. Also, children of Central Presbyterian Church members receive a 10% discount each year.
